Personal Reflection:
Throughout the process of implementing this lesson one of the major issues I faced was getting the kids to focus on this as a lesson versus it just being a fun thing to do.
I figured this would be something that would occur because the kids I worked with all ranged from ages 3-5.
One thing that could have helped tremendously in implementing this assignment would have been to have other adults in the class to help with keeping kids on focus.
Student Reflection:
"I really liked this lesson because I had a chance to run and play with my friends." Tahlia Cail
"I really liked playing the drums it was FUN!!!"-- Ambrose Harrison
"This was fun!"-- Gideon Jackson
The kids used in this assignments were from age 3 to 5 who were a part of my church's preschool aged Sunday school program.
Reading is an essential part of life and success. Without reading comprehension, students’ careers will suffer greatly. I believe that one major factor in reading is having an understanding of the meaning of different verbs will help students in their quests to learn how to read.
Furthermore being able to make connections between different words and how they are actually relate to their lives will help students get more understanding. This project will also allow them to connect with other students in the classroom.
